Global Health Program
Global Health Program’s aim is to train medical doctors, dentists, veterinarians and students of these disciplines in global public health issues, such as health care delivery systems, infectious and non- infectious diseases epidemiology and health care management. The training is mainly done in annually organized three-week certificate courses.
In addition, we arrange web courses, summits and seminars, which are open for all health care professionals and people interested in global health. Our network also provides opportunities for institutional capacity building, teachers' exchange and research projects.
The Global Health Program is an international network of public health oriented organizations in Chile (Universidad de Chile), Finland, the Philippines (University of the Philippines), Nepal (Tribhuvan University) and Tanzania (Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences and Sokoine University of Agriculture).
A Global Health course will be held in 08.08.-26.08.2016 in Tanzania, mainly in Dar es Salaam. More information >>
Applicants from collaborating countries (the Philippines, Tanzania, Nepal and Chile) should follow information provided by their corresponding institutions. Links to the web pages of collaborating institutions can be found above.
Application for Finnish medical doctors, dentists, veterinarians and students of these fields for the 2016 course has been completed (01.12.-31.12.2015).
